
Nordic Dream is a Danish webshop specializing in beds, combining e-commerce with physical showrooms. Their primary target group is adult couples aged 30–40+, often homeowners who want to upgrade their sleep quality.
We spoke with Jonas Laursen, Head of E-commerce at Nordic Dream, who shares insights into their previous challenges with financing solutions and how Anyday now helps create a simpler and more flexible purchasing experience for their customers.
Before partnering with Anyday, Nordic Dream found that traditional financing solutions created unnecessary friction in the purchasing process.
Jonas explains:
“We previously had a financing solution that shut down in Denmark, so we had to find an alternative.”
“The financing solution we had before involved an application process where customers had to go through many steps. It could take several days to get approved.
We had to follow up on customers’ financing applications ourselves and check how the process was going. Often there was just one final step missing before the application could be approved, which made the entire process quite administratively heavy for us.”
For Nordic Dream, the goal was to find a financing option that was both simple for customers and required less internal administration.
With Anyday, customers can split their payment into up to 24 instalments directly in checkout - without interest or hidden fees. Approval happens instantly, allowing the customer to complete the purchase without a lengthy application process or waiting time.
At the same time, Anyday has an approval rate of 71%, meaning a large share of customers can be approved quickly and complete their purchase.
An important part of the solution is transparency for the customer. With Anyday, customers can clearly see their payment plan and terms already in checkout, which creates confidence around the purchase.
At Nordic Dream, they see a clear difference in the purchasing process after implementing Anyday.
One key difference is that the approval process now takes place directly with the customer in checkout.
As Jonas explains:
“Anyday works significantly better than the classic financing solutions from banks.
I definitely think it’s the flow of the approval process that makes it easy. You get approved immediately and can see your terms directly in checkout.”
At the same time, the solution has reduced the administrative burden at Nordic Dream.
“Previously we had to follow up on applications and contact customers. Now the entire process sits with the customer.”
Data also shows a clear impact on customer behavior when customers choose to pay with Anyday.
The average order value is 31.5% higher when customers pay with Anyday compared to other payment methods.
In addition, the solution attracts a slightly younger target group than Nordic Dream’s primary customer segment. While Nordic Dream typically targets customers aged 30–40+, the largest Anyday customer group is 25–34 years old.
Data also shows clear preferences in payment choices. 62% of all Anyday purchases at Nordic Dream are completed with 4 instalments, indicating that customers largely choose the option that is free of interest and fees. This highlights the value of a transparent payment model, where customers can create flexibility in larger purchases without additional costs.
For Nordic Dream, the solution works both online and in their physical showrooms in Aarhus and Copenhagen, making it possible to offer the same flexible payment option across their sales channels.
